OT: Vetran's Day/ Poppies

Well I'll just say I am the Grandson of a man that fought in WWI and
survived, and son of a French-Man that survived 5 complete years as a 9th
through 14th year old in WWII france while the germans, bombed, starved, and
killed many members of my immediate family ... I lost 1/3 of my family to
war, starvation, and polio due to my family having to hide at night in the
garbage dumps to find food to feed themselves.

All men in my family have served in the army, army or air force, in WWI,
WWII, Korea, Algerian War and a few others.

Respect to all veterans, on the battefields of freedom... You are free
because of what they fought for...
And don't forget the ones that were forgotten as "freedom fighters" and
"resistance fighters"

Patrick Bureau, HMS Provider, 1984-1987
