'81 Scirocco S

I got my '81 S started today, for a few seconds, but that was after I
cleaned out the flow plate and throttle body.

It ran from the carb cleaner, for a few seconds, and then when I gave it
gas, it cut off.

I'm going to try a jumper for the fuel pump relay next, any other
suggestions?

The thing is, that I can't work on it, because I have other work, that I
must finish first.

At least I have spark...

I have to get this running good enough to pass Delaware inspection for the
last time, so that I can pull the exhaust for Grant, who has been very
patient.
