FK trans info needed

It's like a 2H, so you have to grind the case, and it takes the thinner
flange seals, only used in '83.
It has the factory 2% shims, and will accept the 40% Peloquin LSD shim kit.

OK transaxle nerds,

What is the difference between an FK trans and a 4k/2h.  Yes I know its got
a 3.89 final, but specifically, is the case different?  Will it accept 100mm
flanges without modification or minimal modding like a 2h?
