Another Auto tranny related Question
TN was also used on the MkI. The only difference, spec-wise, is the axle
shaft diameter. The TN I took out of
my old '81 had 90mm axles(of course) and the TNA that died on my now 16V, 5
speed, had 100mm. At the time
I swapped out the axle flanges and the metal piece around them. It was an
easy job and everything worked well.
BTW, if you are interested in that transmission let me know. I have no use
for it and will let it go with parts to go
back to TN also.
