The first year, we did cheap, simple "my name is" tags.
What we found was that it wasn't always enough with just a
name - e-mail addresses helped immensely.
If we want to do lanyards or whatever, it's fine with me.
It may make it less daunting to first (or second, or...)
timers, which is a plus in my book. I kinda like the
"keepsake" part of it too. And besides, I still sometimes
get a the wrong name with a face, and in some cases they've
been here a couple times already. (Must be old age setting
in, or Alzheimer's) I'd prefer it if someone else
spearheaded the project though, since I still have quite a
few things to do to get ready. :)
In thinking about it, I've got a promotional company or two
I used to work with, perhaps I can get some info from them
as well. Perhaps get the contact made, and hand the
project off to someone? Or add it to my list?
