Fuel resevoir and gas tank removal???

You do have to drop the tank, but only slightly. Re-running the lines to the top
of the tank can be done with a wire hanger and a helper to feed the line, but
this will only work with the space afforded by the slughtly dropped tank. I
managed it with only removing the two bolts along that edge and loostening the
others. Take particular care as you re-snug the tank that the two fuel lines
remain free and do not get pinched between the tank and body. This will cause
very hard to diagnose heat-related fuel cutout issues, especially if the return
line is what is pinched (guys who swapped the tank on the rieger for the recall
must have been in a hurry that day).

Ok, heres whats up there:

Heres what it looks like out:

Here's your crack (no offense to that ebay lister mentioned previously)

Might want to clean up that "u" piece while its out:

If this shows up you need a new one:

For those curious (again), this is the tiny air return orifice that allows air
to bleed back to the fuel tank:

Repaired fuel tube and new lines (this repair worked for about 0.87 seconds, I
later ordered another from potterman):

Pic showing placement of both clips:

Also, both reservoirs that I had on-hand had the exact same crack. It appears
to be a design flaw in the reservoir. The new part was a later revision if I
remember correctly.
