Anyone ever install a MegaSquirt on there VW?

Well I managed to get mine up and running on a 79 mkI.I just totaled up my 
invoices for the MegaSquirt equipment.$255. 82 for the actual MS parts.Wires 
sensors and mics parts probably didn't add $100.00.Thats a standalone fuel 
management system for less than $300.00 Thats CHEAP!
 I had never built a circuit board and had no experience with Electronic 
FI.I was still able to bungle thru it thanks to some excellent instruction 
and support.I have been on a couple of long trips and I would not hesitate 
at all to build another Squirt.
