Relay tail lights?
Gordon, this link to led replacement bulbs was posted by a fellow lister

Well, here's my test of this idea. This pic is both brake lights
illuminated by the normal means.. foot on the brake.

This second one is with an 8 gauge jumper wire from the positive post
of the battery directly to the left brake light terminal. The right
light is normal.

I don't see a difference, either way you look at it. Same opinion
holds seeing it "live" so I'm concluding it's not worthwhile.
On a related subject, the running lights to the rear could really use
some help. Is there a slightly bigger output bulb that could be used
without melting anything? I have the tiny globe 5w ones in there.
