What's the strangest thing you've towed with your Scirocco?

I towed my 88 16V home from Michigan across the border with an 81
Scirocco on a tow bar!  Funny you mention the stump, I had a 80
Scirocco S I did the same thing with.  We cut all the roots we could
get to, hooked a chain about 10 feet up and pulled it over.  Took a
few tries, and I'm glad there wasn't a windshield or I might have it
it with my head!  The car didn't have enough traction, so I had to
jerk the chain....
