Infomation from the Audi 100 owner

Don't know if anyone else contacted the owner of the Audi 100 quattro 
coupe, but I wrote him, see the following transcript.
If (and I expect he will) okay the posting of his article, I'll post it

I was referred to your web page featuring your Audi 100 quattro coupe.
Beautiful car, I must say! I was wondering if you have any information
on it, such as details of the build-up, and more specifically, what
donor vehicles the driveline came from.
Any information you'd care to share would be greatly appreciated. I am
on a couple mailing lists for VW Sciroccos and VW Quantums, and we're a
bunch of hardcore gear-heads who are very impressed by your car!

Thank you very much for your feedback !

This orange quattro was my project car for almost 4 years !
But now I enjoy every minute driving it ... It's real crowd pleaser and 
head turner... In almost every stop on the traffic lights I gathered 
feedback of good words and asking infow and details for such rare and 
NICE lookingg Audi !!! Most of them never knew that Audi ever built such 
nice good looking body!!!

The total cost of it is astronomical, because I used mostly NEW Original 
parts for this project car !!!! The reliability of the car is something 
that you cannot meet easily in 31 years old car, even in restored 
condition !!!! Until today more than 80.000 euros has been spent and 
HUGE amount of PERSONAL labour hours !!!!

Even the electronic tacho+odometer was bought brand new !!! The car is 
in everyday use from September 2005. Till today the odometer shows 
10.800 km !!!

Because I'm a real bolthead , too, I'm sending to you the article I have 
already writen for this car. It is published in the VIER RINGE magazine, 
the ACCD magazine ACCD= Audi Coupe Club Deutschland is the most famous 
club for the Audi 100 Coupe S world wide !

It's not yet finished !!!!! The central console with the NEW blaupunkt 
bamberg electronic + the NEW original Audi 100 Coupe S 60mm VDO 
instruments and switches is in the electric shop !!!!

Next week will be ready !
Then, the central console, which is a custom made one by me, it needs 
new leather covering...

I hope the end of it will be close..

To realize how HOT I was all this 4 years time, I prefer to drive this 
car the past months EVEN without any radio and extra 
switches+instruments !!!!!! ahhaahhaahahahah And even without them the 
car looks great !
