OMG! It's not the heat, well...
I've heard that the 70's chevy's did this, something to do with the temp of the engine or rad when sitting in hot weather.
The car had not been driven at all yesterday but the temp in the garage was about 110F.
I'm really not worried if anything it's the relay for the fan that is stuck open, easy fix.

It's pretty common for a Corrado to do this, but I don/t know what the fix
is.
Try the Corrado list, VWVortex, or Google it.

It was 101F here and last night before the rain, around 2230, it was still
in the 80's.
The radiator fan in Ellen's corrado came on without the car even running,
not sure why, but I finally had to diconect the battery to turn it off.
Maybe the relay stuck open from the heat?

Heat? I think Seattle topped out at 85ish yesterday... our summer is
winding down. I am going to wear pants to the airport because it's too
friggin cold for shorts this early and believe it or not mexico city is in
their rainy season so it's pretty chilly too.
I wish I had some heat Jeez!
