I just spoke with the owner:

Not currently registered in CA
Not the original engine, suposedly setup for "racing"
Hair trigger on gas
Said it had a 4 speed?
New axles, clutch, breaks all done 3 years ago
Originally from Santa Barbara area
She tried to sell it 3 years ago and a bay area guy was very interested in
it but she changed her mind.

I'm seriously interested. Can you take a look?

Tonight I'm leaving for San Diego and could get into Santa Cruz to take a
look in person on or about Tuesday 7/25. Or if this could be looked at ASAP
I'll just fly to SFO get it and drive it to San Diego and back!
