When 5 out of 9 stores charge for services not performed it seems to 
suggest that it is done by direction from management somewhere up the 
line. The district manager sure didn't help his case by denying his 
identity.  I was not at all impressed by the canned response from the 
top management at Jiffy Lube and their refusal to meet with the 
reporters.  Perhaps the "direction from management somewhere up the 
line" came from the top.

They need to prosecute some of those guys. It is stealing.  I doubt any 
lower level employee with a clean record would get any jail time, but a 
felony conviction for a few may inspire the others to be honest. Jiffy 
Lube should be required to post a photo of some of those convicted on 
the shop walls with an explanation of why it was there.
