Eric,
I would definitely be interested in doing a track day at Gingerman... I honestly don't know just
yet if I could come up for that first Friday in August, as I may be racing another place that
weekend. ;)
How would that Friday at Gingerman work anyhow? Do they just allow anyone on the track? No
special equipment except for a helmet? And do they limit the number of cars that are allowed?
Can you prepay to reserve a spot or something or would it be first come... I just need to know
more info since I would be taking off work, driving 5+ hours, getting a hotel, etc... any info
you find would be great.
Weekends are honestly better for me, but I understand how it is with the big clubs being there on
weekends. You mentioned CVO being there in October? That might be a lot of fun... so would that
potentially be a "All VW" track day??!? Isn't CVO the group that puts on Treffen? I imagine it
would be a lot of fun to race with fellow Vdubs... and having a good rocco turnout would be
awesome. You want to look into this one some more too?
Keep us posted!
Ben
