non-start
This is from my memory back to 4 years ago, so I'm probably a little off
here but isn't there a grounding issue that could potentially be a no-start
cause? I remember I had to add a ground to mine - from the battery to
the... coil? Sound familiar?

This sounds to me like a bad ignition switch... I'd bet money on it...
