3A vs 3A block
I don't know how much difference you'll see between the hydro (HT/RD and later)
vs. solid (JH) head, if any, in a street or even medium-modified application.
But IIRC where the JH distinguishes itself is in the heavily modified (i.e.,
race) applications. The solid lifter valve train is said to be a little more
stable in the higher revs.
