VR6
I haven't done one, but some things come to mind.
You already mentioned mounts, so check that.
Add to the list:
1. heavier front crossmember
2. cutting drivers fender-well for VR trannie clearence
3. Custom springs to deal with the weight
4. megasquirt/tech2-3/or other stand alone. Could prollie use stock VR fuel
management, but it might be a pain since you won't have all the damn sensors
for things like air-bags, ABS, ect.
5. conversion to cable shift = a new hole in the firewall
6. beefy sway bars - unless you just want to go straight
Thats all the "top of my head" stuff I can think of. I might be wrong on a
few of those. As I said, I've never built one, but those are just things
that I can think would need/want to be done to handle it. I know I've left
out a bunch and other will chime in with better detail.
