Tubro question re: JE Pistons

I've been running JE pistons on my car since '03. So far so good.
I have a PG block (aka Corrado G60). Pistons are more-or-less a standard FI dished crown, similar to stock G60, but made for144mm rods instead of the normal PG 136mm rods.
Compression is about 9.5:1 with a hydro 8v head that has tons of work done to it. 235whp/205wtq at ~11psi from a twin-screw supercharger.
Regarding boring specs: Boring/honing with a torque plate was strongly recommended, so I let Stu Brummer at BSI Racing handled my engine block work. Only place in Florida I could find with a VW torque plate. He highly recommended that I don't use as much bore clearance as JE recommends. Said that unless I was planning to do hard-core, high-speed track racing, the pistons would never expand *that* much. IIRC (don't quote me on this), he more or less split the difference between the stock clearance and the JE recommendation. I wasn't so sure I wanted to risk it, but he basically insisted and I had nowhere else to go, so I said OK...and I've been happy so far. You can still hear a small amount of knock and see a bit of blow-by when the engine is cold, but nothing like some forged piston engines I've seen.

www.WiseCo.com
Here is another I had bookmarked for some reason.
http://www.importperformanceparts.net/imports/wisecopistons_vw.html
There was antoher really informative one but I can't find it now. WiseCo
may have an off the shelf version which might be cheaper.
