Picked up my winter beater...



Sounds like bajaguy lied his ass off as I quote "this is a solid running car
people come get it".  Not very solid if you have to wrench on it for an hour
to get it started.  Hope you paid less than his original price of $1000 :)
I have done the same thing before in buying a Scirocco that was not exactly
what I was looking for.  On the bright side undercarriage rust fixes are
easier to hide than body panel rust fixes. Plus she looks good on the
outside which is the opposite of all my babies.  Good luck with the new
addition.
