[16v] Front spring swap

If you take off the ball joint the alignment should be ok. You could
also scribe the position of the strut before loosening the two bolts.

Any way of removing the front springs without removing the strut?  I 
have a set of lowering springs I need to install, but I don't want to 
mess with my alignment.  I'm hoping I can lower the control arm as far 
as I can, but will that be enough to get the spring off the strut? 
Should I pull the ball joint? Swaw bar?
