This is why I wondered if it was, in fact, the upper/longest/forward-most
of the three links that results in a good deal of the improvement, as it's
just a bent rod with some cotter pins (or whatever the correct term is for
those pins/clippie dealios). Even with fresh bushings, the ball ends have
to be more secure/precise.

That's it from me on the topic then! I'll just enjoy my new parts in
silence from now on.
