wheel bearing tool

I'm part of the local Audi club chapter (http://www.naaclub.org/).
We've got about 7 of us interested in the tool; we're going to set up a
loaner program for the chapter. Each pitch in $50 and we can share the
tool, then get others to help buy some other special tools we might all
use...
Works well when the group is fairly centrally located.

I know a few guys who have a hydraulic press; that's the back up plan.
I think we'll buy the tool then do the work at the guy's house with the
20-ton press, in case we can't get the bearing out of the housing.

Other downside: bearing tool can do the job with no impact on alignment,
potentially saving you $40+ each time you do the job. I'm saying that
even though I have the press, and not the tool.
