Remove crank pulley?
I had this problem too. The pulley on the new 1.8 had a crack, so I decided
to use the one from the old 1.6. It took a rattle gun at about 180 psi (shop
compressor) and an acetylene torch to get it off. The reason might have been
that when I got it off...there was no key in the keyway...previous owner
like to work on cars while he was drunk I am told...

Subject: Remove crank pulley?
How in the name of all that is unholy do you remove that pulley on
the crankshaft?
I am trying to change all the belts, and if I can't get this pulley
off, I can't remove the lower timing belt cover.
Help.
