The saga of the 85....on the road again.



When tuning by ear I go by the frequency valve. Lean till it buzzes solid, 
then rich till has intermittant pauses. I find this to be the best DIY co 
setting for my car. I run the ignition timing at the stock 6* mark. If I'm 
trying to get more power I go by the WOT switch, rich until hitting the 
switch at idle makes the car sputter a bit.
 I'd be afraid of going a bit too lean, only because it may "run" fine but 
still cause slow damage.
