How to get Mk1 fenders off?

there are several bolts, i never counted them.. but
david told me the key when i asked him that same
question.  although you lasted longer than i did.  the
fenders are glued on as well.  so they do just pull 
out.  with a lot of force, i imagine.  david can tell 
you more.
