ETKA request on A1 strut bearing part

Hi folks - a guy on the Poortex IM'd me that the collar bearing I'm looking for 
on my early strut bearing can actually be cut out of the later style. Can 
anyone confirm this?

(and for anyone who's curious, this is the only part in the whole setup that's 
actually a "bearing" and spins on its own).
