You're comparing a rust free Oklahoma car with a car from Ohio...
Apples and oranges I'm afraid...

I will never, ever, try to restore a rotted out northern car again -
it's just not worth the time and money...

Perhaps.  But this 'roc was about six inches shorter on the left side than
it is on the right.  Comparable?  I dunno... *shrug*
