This is a wonderfully absurd concept.
However, if "far out" is not an issue in this project but RWD is, consider using a Corvair rear suspension and differential (late model 1964-1969 only, with IRS coil springs and transverse leaf spring to control camber/same as Corvette) in place of the R32 RWD.
