brake leak

The pedal is very soft and I can push it almost to the floor -
however, it doesn't suddenly fade like it did when the MC was still bad.

How can I tell if there is fluid in the booster? Would the fact that
I used a corrado MC without the indentation on the part that inserts
into the booster cause this problem?
