Curious, how many cars are in your car?

The '82 diesel: (2)
- AC from $250 16v parts car
- engine from an '81 Rabbit
- I'm sure I swiped some other small bits from the 16v parts car, but not
much.

....for $300, that '82 was pretty sweet.


The 16v: (2)
- numerous hoses and bits from $250 16v parts car
- transmission from my Sportruck (long story....it's going back in the truck
sooner or later...) but will still be an FF/FN
- alternator from $250 16v parts car


That $250 16v was a damned good purchase. I also got ~30k miles from the
BALANCED and not F-ed up teardrops from it too. I finally had to get some
new tires for the rims though, but they only had 195 series....the rear
spring (H&R lowered) had popped out of the top cup and RUBBED THE TIRE RAW
in 10 miles. :( (Thankfully Wal-mart didn't ask what happened and they just
replaced it) - but I'm still running around on some 13" steel rims my dad
lent me.....they look 'oh-so-hot' - but not.
