scirocco diesel

Anyone ever did this? I was thinking about one day doing this conversion. I
can get used ATF fluid all day long for free since I work for a dealership
so I was thinking why pay 3.05 a gallon for 93 octane when I can get a
sciocco for cheap and drop a diesel motor in it and drive it all day long on
ATF. or get a rabbit diesel and do it.
