Trans code OFQ?



Out of all the 020 codes DFQ seems like what it would be.
.80 5th which is good, but bear in mind it's a "16V" tranny in that it
has the larger input shaft diameter and 4th gear splines on the pinion
shaft are bigger.
Fifth gear will swap fine though.
Only 6 bolts and a small hammer away from a tooth count though.
Warning, Warning!! Do not pull the shaft out of the center of the
shift fork and don't let it fall out either! Various shift parts will
come loose inside the tranny. Only shear luck (or a torch) will save
your ass then!
