Misc 2L questions
Hey Phil,
I've got the ABA/JH combo going in mine. I don't run a knock sensor either.
I only use 94 octane fuel, and keep the timing between 6 and 8 degrees at
idle and I've never had a problem with ping. 28mpg with the cam and whatnot
is pretty impressive! I've only got a G-grind in mine, I've managed 43mpg,
but that was driving home from Cincinnati last October(I live in southern
Ontario). Oddly enough I only got about 36mpg on the way there, lol.
GL with the motor, hope you enjoy it!! Oh, and I think it's the 36mm oil
pump I'm running. Smaller then the stock ABA, but bigger then the stock JH
solid lifter one. IIRC it's from a plain 1.8 Hydro motor. No idea what the
oil pressure is, but I'm just over a year and almost 20000kms in and I've
had no problems with it yet.
