Paint

Obviously, you have to figure out how deep into it you
want to go financially.  A new color, IMO, requires a
buttload of prep and serious money.  I agree with
Cathy that a new coat of Mars Red looks nice.  Get
some nice euro stuff on it and it looks even sleeker. 
But my first was Mars Red and the fading made me hate
the color while I had it, because I felt it lost its
allure faster than any other color.

The guys at the VW bodyshop also told me Mars Red was
the most expensive color for paint (this was 1995). 
Something about the properties of the paint.
