Ha... 15 years ago on October 24th (1990 for you mathematically challenged folks) I was driving my mom's 81 Mazda GLC on Front Street in Binghamton NY and my white 87 16v Scirocco caught my eyes on a used car lot.   I had seen it there before and knew the guy wanted more than I could afford at $10k.   I stopped in anyways and asked "what's the lowest you can go on that Scirocco" and he said $6995.   There was one in the local paper with more miles for $10k and that was the cheapest they were going for those days from what I had seen... so I almost choked on my tongue as I was out the door to beg parents for a little extra money to pick it up.  Waaaalaaa.   She's resting in the garage right now still with almost all original paint and a few signs of age but she runs better than ever.  :-)
