Starter q"s



replace the (-) cable. i ran mine as follows: battery, chassis, tranny 
bracket, intake manifold ground stud.
heat soak in starter could be possible, but i've found that most replace the 
starter unnecessarily, as the new one is only a tiny bit more efficient and 
'gets you by' for a while on the same bad factory cables.

just for kicks, measure dc voltage from batt (-) to somewhere on the engine 
and whatch it during cranking. dont be surprised to see a couple of volts 
across a factory ground strap.
