	If it makes you feel better, I have a friend who built a 8v rabbit that 
would do close to 150. Engine HP was not really the issue (yes, he did 
made changes to it).  The trick, he says, was to use a diesel tranny to 
get the highest 5th gear possible (a FF tranny was use in this 
adventure).  The way they measure the speed was to know the distance 
btween two towns and how long it took to travel between them. Was that 
their brighest moment? Hardly.  Did they take pictures?  The only guy 
int he car -- the driver -- was too busy keeping it on the road. So, 
they relied ont he stopwatch.
