Removing fenders on any Scirocco after 76 is a bit of a PITA. VW put
a serious amount of monkey-snot under there, and it's a bitch to
remove. You probably won't find too many volunteers to help with such
a cursed job, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of people around to
offer advice and encouragment! It's not quite as bad if you don't
give a shit about the fenders you're removing, since you can 'muscle'
them a bit...
I say bring em!
