Glad to hear your dealership was cool about it!  Perhaps they had an oldtimer in the shop who was familiar with the cars...  Our shop won't work on anything older than '92, and often not older than '97...  HOWEVER, they did a gas tank recall within the last year on like an '86.  I would imagine the owner raised Cain and Able to get it done...

Anyways, enough rattling, I am glad to hear it has worked out thus far...
