preferred trans?

I put a Phantom Grip in the tranny for the GRM car.
Around $200-250 not including any other tranny rebuild parts.
And a pain in the ass to install.
I've never driven one, so don't know how good it is (or not). It's just a friction preload device 
like the Peloquin 80% kit.

As far as the preferred tranny, I'd think you'd want 3.94 final drive with the close ratio 1st thru 
4th gears with a .80 (if you can find one) or .75 5th. The .71 would be just one huge jump from a 
1.13 4th!
