No, not really.The benefit of a true IRS is that wheel movement on one side does not create a corresponding movement (with its accompanying castor/camber changes) in the other side. The twist-beam rear axle of the A1 doesn't suffer from this anyway, by design. So, there wouldn't be much advantage in performing this for anything other than hopping the car side to side.....
