I am in the market for another MK1 scirocco. I really don't care what condition the interior or the drive train is. What I would like to find is a rust free (or almost rust free) straight mk1 (I know we are all looking for a rust free mk1 aren't we)
Hey Cory.. Paul Grimes here in Phoenix just picked up a sweet S from the Potterman that he's likely going to sell. But - she's pricey, probably in the $3500 range. It has a buttload of brand new hardware, including coilovers and tons of other stuff. The paint (cirrus grey) is way fargone, but the car itself is 100% straight, clearly never hit, and the interior is good. If I had room in the garage I'd buy it in a heartbeat - it's really an exceptional example. Paul's email is paul@vortexmediagroup.com, shoot him a msg if you're interested.
