I went and checked the evans website briefly (I'm in class at the
moment =P ) and got the impression that you virtually never have to
change your coolant... is that correct? pretty sweet deal if that's
the case!

Correct, lifetime shtuff.... IIRC, the reddy-pink stuff is also lifetime, but you must use water also so I cannot see how that would indeed be a lifetime coolant...

In my experience, Evans is great stuff. I should warn anyone considering using it to make sure that their cooling system is in very good, or nearly new condition. The headgasket should be the metal type, while the hoses should have no visible age, and the pump be in good condition. The website does not say this, this is what I have experienced. If there is a week link in the cooling system, Evans will find it. With that said, since this stuff does not use water, the cooling system should last a lot longer since you do not have the constant expansion and contraction with a regular cooling system or the corrosion. Some may use this without having any troubles, but I would rather warn those interested now rather than irritate them later...
I have been searching on Evans site for some pertinent articles but had little luck as of yet. TT tested it back in 92-93, and there was a write-up in European Car accordingly. It is still accurate with the exception that it is no longer necessary to reverse coolant flow, or modify the system in any other way to make it work correctly...
