One problem you might run into when converting to coilovers is that
the inside of your wheels might rub against the coilover sleeve. The
modified A2 setup on my 75 track car (BSI system with double
adjustable koni's) does this, and 5mm wheel spacers were needed to
provide the required clearance... The outside diameter of the
threaded collar is larger than the stock strut tube (with any coilover
I've seen), so you may run into this problem no matter what setup you
choose with your current wheels... If you're buying new wheels, some
calculations on proper backspacing and offset are in order over the
standard recommended specs for our cars...

H&R and FK both make hubcentric wheel spacers. None of the tire or alignment shops I called carried hubcentric spacers. Potterman carries the H&R's, but I would've had to wait on shipping. But by calling around, I was surprised to be able to find FK wheelspacers *in stock* at a shop in Milwaukee, OR (half hour away from me). 5mm each side for rear wheels. Not coilovers, but I saw the old springs had tire rub damage, so I got the spacers to be sure it didn't happen to my new suspension.

The old suspension was a bit lower than the new, so once the spacers were on before the changeover, my tires started to rub a tad over bumps, but now all is good.

Be aware that if you get spacers over, say 3mm, you should seriously consider longer lugbolts. Finding the right lugs will take some planning ahead of time, so take that into consideration. Potterpeople can help you out.
