I knew that name looked familiar.  Nice detective work.  
He did mention in the yellow 75's ad that he searches for them all the
time.  I wonder if he won if it'd end up back on ebay in a couple
months with another 20-30% of the price tacked on.
I saw that happen once back when I used to look for jeeps online. 
Found one, went and looked at it, and saw it had problems that would
need attention immediately so I passed.  About half a year later saw
it back online from a different seller at more than double the price. 
If you've got the money and time it might not be such a bad idea, but
I wonder how much of a return you could actually get on something like
a scirocco, where even the nicest ones still go for cheap.
