It's based on several internet based lists of Vanagon friendly spots.  The 
spots are acurate to the "town level" only.

I used it last fall durring a month long cross country trip.

I didn't know where I was going, but I knew what I wanted to see.  I was a 
little anxoius about my Westfalia making it non-stop, so I took some time to 
compile the lists you see illustrated on the map.

I used my print-out once in South Dakota to get help with a low power (haha) 
problem.  Ended up being just the altitude that made it feel slower than 
normal.
