I would agree, the dual piston G60 brakes on my Audi Coupe Quattro
aren't very light...

Why are you going to 11" brakes?  IMHO 11" brakes are overkill on all
but the most 'serious' track Mk1's.  There's the extra unsprung weight
of the rotors and calipers, plus for the street 11" brakes won't warm
up too quickly on a 1900 lb car...
