Your car doesn't have any studs for mounting the bracket for the rear of the a-arm ???
MK I's and MK II's are the same as far as how the a-arms mount. Big-assed longitudinal bolt at the 
front of each arm, two 8mm vertical studs to secure a bracket that holds the rear a-arm bushing up 
against the underside of the car.
The Autotech subframe picks up exactly these four mounting points.
If your car doesn't have the studs that would be the first thing to address.
Or maybe I'm not understanding and all you have to do is remove the brackets at the rear of the 
a-arm and put the Autotech subframe in their place?? If that's the case, then make sure you don't 
bust the studs ;^)
