Jacked up
Good question AND been asked..... :)
There are specific locations along the rocker panels that are designated for
jacking. They are marked with a small (1"?) indentation along the side.
The problem, however, is two-fold; 1) finding a block with a 1" deep slot
in it to fit on either side of the sheet metal seam running right through
the jacking point, and 2) then finding a spot for the jackstand once the
floor/car jack has raised the car. :(
I machined a 2" thick X 4" dia Delrin block with the requisite slot, which
fits the 'pad' of my floorjack to deal with issue #1.
The answer to issue #2 has eluded me, so far....any place I put it seems to
be 'wrong'.....
