Hot, Hot HOt!! (suggestion to bring doen the oil Temp)

 Does that
> little joke of an oil/water cooler gizmo really do
> anything? I see

Describing our stock sandwich oil coolers as such is
unfortunately one of the great missunderstandings of
the watercooled world.

The fact that the coolant lines running through said
"cooler" are on the always open heater core loop is a
hint to it's true purpose: an oil heater.

It's calling in life is twofold:

1. to bring the engine oil up to opperating temperatue
as rapidly as possible.

2. to provide a spot from which oil can spew at any
given moment once it's hard rubber gasket splits.

This has been a drunk post by anson, note the sad lack
of cursing.
